Prop-firm times that matter more than the exchange's
- Tradeify: close all positions by 4:45 PM ET (12:59 PM ET on holiday half-days); no overnight or weekend holding — Tradeify trading rules.
- Topstep: the Trading Combine "best day" locks at 3:10 PM CT for the consistency target — Topstep help.
- TradeDay: traders must stay within its permitted trading times; see TradeDay evaluation rules.
Every firm sets its own flat-by time, so check your firm's rules page — the exchange being open doesn't mean your account may hold a position.
Last updated Nov 2026. Prop-firm rules change often; every claim links to the firm's own page so you can re-check before you trade. Not investment advice.
